> Coffee Varieties
Some varieties of coffee come from exceptional environments grown in unique places like mountains having an elevation of more than 7,000 feet and some in more exotic slopes of the volcanoes. Some coffee varieties are even found in tropical rain forest in the Caribbean and Central America were they are tagged as the perfumes of the coffee world because of their subtle and distinct aromas contributed by the well balanced ecosystem and its tropical climate humidity. An example of a coffee variety grown in the slopes of the volcanoes is the Costa Rica coffee, which is famous for its light, clean silky-flavour and buttery taste known by coffee lovers all over the world. And known as the most expensive and one of the sweetest coffee bean variant is the Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee, and because of its distinguishing fruit flavour, intensity and aroma it is the most desirable coffee variant in the world.

> Types of Brewed Coffee
There are on record six different brewing styles—each following the brewing temperature and water quality. Lets start with Turkish brewing—it is boiling finely ground coffee in water, some Middle Easterns even add cardamon—a spice, to brighten up their coffee. Concentrated brewing is popular in Latin America where a large amount of coffee is added with a little amount of water and then brewed to create a concentrated coffee. Another is percolating, it involves continuous brewing of coffee ground using boiling water—the result is over extracted coffee. Vacuum brewing is another technique where two glass globes are used to create a romantic coffee experience. In drip brewing, it is simply pouring hot water over coffee grounds in a filter and letting it drip down to create a cup of coffee. And French Press brewing, is placing coarsely ground coffee inside a glass carafe, then hot water is poured and with a little labour, you can grab your freshly brewed coffee.

Water, not minding your brewing technique, always begin with a clean, clear, fresh—preferably filtered water, free from impurities. Also keep in mind that coffee is 98 percent water, and the water being used depends on the quality of the brewed coffee. Fresh tap water is considerably acceptable in most cases, but if it does not satisfy your delicate buds, try considering bottle or filtered water. Another point to consider is proportion, using the right proportion for the coffee to the water being used contributes to a great cup of coffee. This is one of the most important step in achieving that excellent brewed coffee. But the right amount of coffee is not always the same for each coffee drinker.
