Coffee beans maybe brewed in different ways using different coffee machines to achieve the desired cup of coffee. Once the beans are brewed, coffee can be introduced in many ways and served with no additives or added with sugar, milk or cream. Espresso coffee on the other hand can be made into a lot of varieties aside from its basic form.

There are a lot of hot beverages sold in coffee shops like the espresso—a favourite among to many coffee lovers, with its pure flavour and aroma. The cappuccino which is named after the Cappuccine monks, the latte which is Italian for coffee and milk—a great treat anytime of the day, are some of the coffees that will surely fire you up as you begin your busy day.
> Espresso
Espresso is developed in Milan in the 20th century as a beverage produced by forcing water pressure through fine ground coffee. Espresso coffee has thick consistency than drip coffee and very often measured in shots. Its ‘crema’ is the characteristic that defines the beverage. Crema is the reddish-brown foam found on the surface of every espresso shot prepared in every espresso machine. Espresso machines produces hot pressurized water that forces into a porta filter with tamped ground coffee which is attached to the machine. The product is a rich, syrup-like beverage, which is served immediately otherwise it looses its richness. This type of beverage is a favourite in most part of Europe and also responsible for the booming commercial café and restaurant coffee business all the world.
> Cappuccino
Cappuccino is an Italian coffee drink make from milk and milk froth—thick milk foam. The milk foam found on top of the served cappuccino coffee helps to keep the coffee’s heat to stay longer. To make a cup of cappuccino, a shot of espresso is needed from the espresso machine then adding the most import part of the ingredient is the streamed thick foam texture of milk poured on top of the coffee. In Italy and in other countries, cappuccino is the part of the morning meal usually taken with pastry to kick the day off. Today, modified versions of the cappuccino are found in most commercial café chains and restaurants. The popularity of cappuccino coffee began all over Europe, Australia, South Africa, South America and made more available as more coffee shops begin to open up between the 90’s.
> Macchiato
The rise of sophisticated coffee shops led to the introduction of specialty coffees that is now know throughout the world. And with the invention of the espresso machines the nature of brewing coffee was never the same. Although espresso is a famous drink, it has evolve into a number of specialty drinks. And there is specialty drink that is popular among coffee drinkers—the macchiato. This specialty drink will certainly tame your taste buds. Macchiato literally means stained or marked. The drink is an espresso stained with milk and a dollop of foamed milk. Macchiato is found on most menu in popular coffee shops all over the globe.
> Latté
Latte a.k.a. caffé latte is a variety of coffee beverage made with hot milk. It is one of the favourites hot beverages served during breakfast in Italy. Latte is usually served one-third espresso, two-third steamed milk with some layer of foam. Latte is similar to espresso but the only difference is cappuccino has half the amount of steamed foamed milk. Latte or caffé latte also has lesser amount of foam compared to cappuccino. Caffélatte is part of the menu found in most coffee shops including cappuccino and espresso. Some lattes are served in a bowl, and in Asia and North America they mixed with tea. Other variations include flavoured lattes added with vanilla, hazel nut, and other flavour variants.
> Mochaccino
As the coffee business begin to boom in more major cities in the country all over the world, people started to have more choices other that taking ordinary coffee. The espresso evolved into into different presentation like a shot of espresso combined with steamed milk can be added with flavourings to creating coffee drinks that become popular on most customers because of their exciting taste. And out of these varieties of concoctions, the mochaccino was born. Mochaccino is a variety of specialty coffee made from shot of espresso, steamed milk and added with chocolate. It is more like a latte with chocolate.
