Kona Coffee Belt
One of the most ideal coffee growing places is the Kona region. Kona is part of Hawaii. Kona coffee is grown over 600 farms—mostly small farms, totalling about 2 million pound of green beans yearly. The coffee belt of Kona is located in the rich islands formed on the lava flows all the way to Mamalahoa highway.

Kona coffee
Kona is blessed with the six of the important elements of a world class coffee region: like fertile soil, with altitudes about 300 to 3000 feet, sunshine and temperature above 55 degrees Fahrenheit at most of the times, with sufficient and regular rainfall and the perfect slopes for drainage.
